The ideal candidate will be involved in all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on drafting, discovery, depositions, and motion practice. This role requires a motivated and analytical individual who can thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, working both independently and collaboratively.

Duties:

• Participate in all phases of construction defect litigation (defense)
• Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings
• Draft and argue motions in court
• Take and defend depositions
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and management
• Conduct legal research and draft detailed, analytical memoranda
• Manage multiple litigation cases and projects simultaneously

Requirements:

• Experience in construction defect litigation (defense)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with discovery, pleadings, motions, and depositions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
• California Bar admission (active and in good standing)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar
