Duties

• Manage a varied caseload of civil defense matters, including premises liability, auto torts, contract disputes, fraud, and coverage.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure effective case management.
• Attend and participate in depositions, negotiations, and other case-related activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
• Proven ability to handle a diverse caseload independently and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in legal research and drafting.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Skills

• Active South Carolina Bar license in good standing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
