Duties

  • Handle general liability and/or professional liability defense cases (e.g., product liability, construction defect, premises liability, medical malpractice defense).

  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies.
  • Manage case files, ensuring deadlines and court requirements are met.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials when necessary.

Requirements

  • An active member of the Indiana Bar in good standing.
  • Illinois Bar admission is a plus, especially for candidates working remotely from Illinois.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in litigation, particularly in general liability or professional liability defense.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Indiana.
