Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Workers Compensation Attorney in Springfield, IL. The Workers Compensation Attorney will manage a defense caseload independently, representing clients in workers' compensation cases. They will try cases, conduct depositions and mediations, and establish strong relationships with clients while participating in business development opportunities.

Duties:

• Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload independently
• Successfully try cases, conduct depositions, and mediations
• Establish, build, and maintain relationships with assigned clients
• Participate in marketing and business development opportunities
• Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere
• Utilize available technology for effective client management in a paperless work environment

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing in Illinois
• Desired: licensure in multiple states
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative and committed to working as part of a team

Experience:

2+ years of relevant experience in workers' compensation defense
