Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and depositions, primarily in state and federal courts across California.
• Assist in the development of litigation strategy and case analysis.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to provide legal support and contribute to case management.
• Maintain billable hour requirements and accurately record time worked.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss case developments, strategy, and progress.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California State Bar.
• 0-5 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation or related areas.
• Strong desire to litigate and a proactive approach to gaining courtroom experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with client interaction and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
