A law firm based in Boise is seeking a Senior Employment Law Attorney II with extensive experience in mediation, trial, legal research, and advocacy. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, marketing acumen, and the ability to manage a demanding schedule. This role requires significant trial and mediation experience, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. The candidate must be admitted to the Bar in the state.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct mediations and trials with a successful track record.
  • Research and analyze complex legal issues.
  • Draft memorandums, briefs, letters, and other legal documents.
  • Market personal and firm services to prospective clients.
  • Perform discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information.
  • Conduct due diligence in all matters.
  • Manage a schedule to allow for consultations and closure of consultations.
  • Actively engage in brand expansion through blogs, social media, and organization participation.
  • Seek positive feedback from successful client engagements.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state or eligibility for reciprocal admission.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the Bar in the state.

 

Skills:

  • Successful record of mediation and trial experience.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a demanding schedule and meet production objectives.
  • Marketing skills to promote personal and firm services.
  • Proficiency in conducting discovery of electronically stored data.
  • Empathetic listening skills for effective client interactions.

 

Experience:

5+ years of law practice experience with a book.
