Job Overview
A prominent Florida-based law firm is actively seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in auto negligence and insurance defense litigation. This position involves managing a caseload of complex litigation matters, including personal injury and auto liability, while collaborating with experienced partners to develop case strategies. 

Location

Duties

  • Manage a caseload of complex litigation files from inception through resolution

  • Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance

  • Handle depositions, court appearances, and pre-trial matters

  • Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions and hearings

  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations or arbitrations

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

  • Stay updated on relevant case law, procedural rules, and legislation

Requirements

  • Prior experience handling insurance defense or personal injury litigation

  • Strong case management abilities and attention to deadlines

  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently

  • Professional demeanor and courtroom confidence

  • Demonstrated success in trial preparation and litigation strategy

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Florida
