Duties:

• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on workers' compensation matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm to support plaintiff’s personal injury and property damage cases.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as required.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in workers' compensation law, preferably with plaintiff representation.
• Strong litigation skills, including drafting motions and arguing cases in court.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high professional standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and legal research skills.
• Proficiency with legal technology and case management systems.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Louisiana State Bar Association.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana.
