Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Associate to manage all facets of personal injury matters, from case intake through resolution. This role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse caseload involving negotiations, discovery, client interaction, and litigation strategy development. Ideal candidates will have strong legal acumen in personal injury law, possess effective communication skills, and be driven to advocate for client rights during a challenging period in their lives.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of plaintiff-side personal injury claims from intake through trial or settlement

• Conduct thorough case evaluations to determine legal viability

• Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, providing legal updates and strategic guidance

• Oversee and analyze medical documentation relevant to cases

• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance carriers

• Draft and prepare demand letters and litigation plans

• Lead discovery processes and manage litigation milestones

• Supervise and guide support staff or junior legal team members, as applicable

• Open new case files and maintain detailed legal documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in personal injury law

• Trial experience preferred but not required

• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage caseload and team support

• Demonstrated ability to communicate empathetically and effectively with clients

• Proficiency in case negotiation and conflict resolution

• Familiarity with Georgia personal injury statutes and legal procedures

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
