Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in practicing law, with substantial experience in both criminal defense and immigration law.
  • Strong knowledge of the intersection between criminal law and immigration law, especially in removal proceedings and immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
  • Proven experience in criminal and immigration courts.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and a demonstrated record of zealous representation.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
