The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of law firm experience with a focus on intellectual property matters, particularly in copyright litigation. The successful candidate will work on high-profile cases, develop expertise in copyright law, and have opportunities to take on increasing responsibilities.

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of copyright litigation matters, particularly involving technology-related issues and the intersection between copyright and emerging tech.
  • Work on complex legal cases, including taking depositions, drafting pleadings, and engaging in settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis related to copyright law, technology, and business implications.
  • Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda, providing strategic insight into ongoing cases.
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, and arbitrations, ensuring strong advocacy and presentation of cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients.
  • Engage in proactive client communication, advising on legal and business matters as they pertain to intellectual property and copyright.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in copyright litigation and intellectual property matters.
  • Proven experience with technology-related copyright cases and familiarity with the intersection of copyright law and technology.
  • Strong academic credentials with a law degree from an accredited law school and relevant undergraduate coursework.
  • Excellent research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and work on high-profile cases.

  • Admission to the state bar in which you are practicing.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
