A law firm in Springfield, MO, is seeking an Attorney to practice primarily in divorce, modification, paternity, adoption, guardianship, and additional areas, including criminal defense and estate planning. Duties:

  • Represent clients in divorce, modification, paternity, adoption, guardianship, criminal defense, and estate planning cases.
  • Provide legal advice, counsel, and representation to clients in various legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for court proceedings.
  • Manage and maintain accurate case files and documentation.
  • Attend court hearings and proceedings, including those in SW Missouri courts.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and legal staff to ensure effective legal services.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and good standing with the Missouri Bar.
  • Prior experience in divorce, modification, paternity, adoption, guardianship, and other areas of law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with PC Law software is a plus.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
