Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a motivated and skilled Family Law Associate Attorney. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team to provide exceptional legal services to clients in family law matters. The ideal candidate should be energetic, experienced in Texas family law, and capable of handling a diverse caseload while delivering excellent client service.

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and property division
• Manage a docket of cases, including court appearances and client meetings
• Provide legal counsel and support to clients throughout the litigation process
• Draft legal documents including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements
• Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes between parties
• Collaborate with senior attorneys for case strategy and legal research
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Texas Family Code and related legal developments
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Texas family law
• Confidence and experience in courtroom litigation
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills
• In-depth understanding of the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal documents
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Comfortable using technology to enhance legal practice and case management

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
