Duties

• Manage an active caseload of approximately 100 personal injury litigation cases, with support from a dedicated paralegal team.
• Lead all aspects of case management, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers to ensure favorable case outcomes.
• Oversee the settlement process, ensuring funds are properly disbursed to clients, lienholders, and other parties involved.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to refine legal strategies and enhance litigation skills.
• Handle all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution, including preparing for trial when necessary.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of cases and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong litigation experience, including depositions, mediations, and trial experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage client expectations and interact with various stakeholders.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
