Location:

Duties:

  • Work on high-profile appeals, including cases at the U.S. Supreme Court and federal appellate courts.
  • Contribute to the firm’s appellate "eyes at trial" practice, providing expertise on key motions and issue preservation at the trial court level.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on complex appellate issues.
  • Draft persuasive legal documents such as briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on appellate litigation strategies.
  • Participate in oral arguments and case strategy discussions.
  • Provide legal counsel and support on complex legal matters related to appellate cases.

Requirements:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Prior experience as a judicial clerk (preferably for a federal or state appellate court) is preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials and a commitment to excellence.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and a team player.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Admission to the state bar is required.
