Attorney needed for Wheaton office

Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters
• Manage and litigate insurance defense cases
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues
• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Attend hearings, depositions, and court conferences
• Provide legal advice and strategy for clients
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff
• Handle all aspects of case preparation, including trial preparation

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
• Active license to practice law in Illinois (required)
• Dual licensure in Illinois and Indiana is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience in managing complex litigation matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois (required)
• Indiana Bar License (preferred)
