Duties:

  • Represent clients in special education and school discipline cases.

  • Develop strategic action plans tailored to client needs and objectives.
  • Maintained detailed client notes and billable hours in the Case Management System.
  • Act as a strong advocate for clients, ensuring their rights and interests are upheld.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in special education or school discipline law, either professionally or personally.
  • Active bar membership in California or another state.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and progress individual casework independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in high-stress, emotional situations.
  • The high degree of accountability and responsibility in handling sensitive cases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in good standing with a State Bar, preferably California.
