Products/Labor Law Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Products and Labor Law Associate to join its White Plains, NY office. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 4–6 years of relevant experience who is looking to advance their career by handling complex and challenging legal matters. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing cases related to products liability and labor law, providing counsel, and representing clients in a range of legal proceedings.

Location:

• White Plains, NY

Duties:

• Handle products liability and labor law matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Provide legal counsel and recommendations to clients on complex labor law issues and products liability matters.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and advise clients effectively.
• Represent clients at depositions, court appearances, and in motion practice.
• Manage assigned caseloads independently with appropriate supervision.
• Maintain strong client relationships, adhering to guidelines and deadlines.
• Accurately record and maintain billable hours.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice in the State of New York (admission in PA, NJ, and/or CT is a plus).
• 4–6 years of experience in products liability and/or labor law matters.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience in federal court is a plus.
• Additional experience in insurance defense or related areas of law is a strong asset.
• Ability to handle multiple complex legal matters efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (PA, NJ, and/or CT Bar admission is preferred).
