Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its specialized team handling institutional response matters. This role focuses on advising and assisting institutions with legal frameworks addressing civil rights, Title IX, discrimination, harassment, and compliance processes. The position offers an opportunity for meaningful work within the nation's leading practice in this area. Travel is required for this role, and candidates must hold a license to practice law in Nevada.

Duties:

• Conduct investigations under legal frameworks such as Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or related civil rights or criminal laws.
• Address issues of sexual and gender-based harassment, violence, and discrimination.
• Develop and implement fair, trauma-informed prevention and resolution processes for institutions.
• Draft policies, procedures, and educational materials to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Guide regulatory requirements, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and child protection frameworks.
• Collaborate with institutions to design effective systems and infrastructure for safety, security, and governance.
• Deliver professional written and oral reports and recommendations to institutional clients.

Requirements:

• Experience in legal areas such as civil rights, sexual misconduct investigations, or compliance processes.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities for delivering clear legal advice and documentation.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage complex and sensitive issues with professionalism and impartiality.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in the state of Nevada.

Skills:

• In-depth understanding of Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, and related civil rights laws.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like the Clery Act and child protection laws.
