Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on water law issues and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and court hearings.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies.
  • Stay informed about developments in Colorado water law and related regulations.
  • Manage case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Colorado.
  • 4-8 years of legal experience, with a focus on Colorado water law.
  • Proven experience with water court proceedings and water rights transactions.
  • Strong understanding of Colorado water law and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

Education and Certifications:
