A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Junior Real Estate and Loan Origination Associate Attorney to serve as counsel to national financial institutions and assist clients with the design, establishment, and launching of new loan programs. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of meaningful real estate finance and loan origination experience, strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, and must be admitted to the state Bar of Georgia.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to national financial institutions.
  • Assist clients in designing, establishing, and launching new loan programs.
  • Represent traditional and non-traditional lenders in various transactions, including fixed and floating rate loans secured by commercial real estate.
  • Handle transactions involving apartments, retail centers, industrial properties, and other types of real estate.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external parties.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state Bar of Georgia.
  • 2-3 years of meaningful real estate finance and loan origination experience.
  • Experience representing traditional and non-traditional lenders in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the state Bar of Georgia.

 

Skills:

  • Experience in real estate finance and loan origination.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Legal research and analysis abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
