Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and attending court hearings.
• Prepare legal documents, briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis of legal issues.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness preparation, and deposition attendance.
• Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case strategy and execution.
• Communicate with clients and provide timely updates on case developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois State Bar and in good standing.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience with class action defense is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in drafting legal documents, particularly motions and briefs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
