Attorney - Non-Disclosure Agreement Experience Required

Job Overview:
A law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking to retain an experienced attorney for a flexible, on-demand position focused on non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with a variable work stream, ideal for candidates looking for both part-time and full-time work. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in reviewing, editing, and negotiating NDAs and be committed to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Duties:

  • Review, edit, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients and counterparties to finalize documents.
  • Manage and organize documents, ensuring summaries are completed as needed.
  • Review and send out all documents within 24 hours of receiving them.
  • Handle all tasks remotely, ensuring professional and efficient communication.
  • Maintain a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week.
  • Ensure all work is done in a timely and professional manner, with strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed attorney, admitted to practice in at least one state.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with non-disclosure agreements.
  • Proven experience in contract redlining and client interaction.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Must be a self-starter, reliable, and able to follow through on commitments.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to handle variable workloads.
  • Prior in-house or law firm experience is required; corporate experience is a plus.

Education:

  • J.D. (Juris Doctorate) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in at least one state.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in contract negotiation and document management.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism and client service orientation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
