Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated associate attorney to join its municipal and community associations law practice. Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to municipalities and community associations.

  • Assist with governance, regulatory compliance, and land use matters.

  • Represent clients in municipal prosecution, litigation, and administrative proceedings.

  • Draft ordinances, contracts, policies, and other legal documents.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on issues affecting local governments.

  • Participate in public meetings, hearings, and presentations.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective legal strategies.

Requirements

  • 0-4 years of experience in municipal law, local government, or community association representation.

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Excellent public speaking and client communication abilities.

  • Colorado Bar license or eligibility to take the Colorado Bar exam.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Colorado Bar membership (or pending application to take the bar exam).
