Duties

• Provide legal counsel and representation from pre-trial through trial

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and agreements

• Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Collaborate with senior associates and partners to develop case strategies

• Contribute to business development and client relationship management

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Active membership in the Utah State Bar

• 1-3 years of experience in defense litigation (medical malpractice or healthcare law experience is a plus)

• Strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures

• Excellent litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the Utah State Bar
