Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Short Hills, NJ, seeks a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. Job Duties:

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, attorneys, business professionals, and third parties.
• Supervise and mentor associates on legal matters and case strategy development.
• Collaborate with experts in various fields relevant to litigation cases.
• Assist in fact development and conduct depositions as part of case preparation.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Contribute to developing case strategy and participate in strategic decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and clients.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent business judgment and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Research proficiency and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others persuasively.
• Management skills, including project management and multitasking abilities.
• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution.
• Admission to practice law in New Jersey (NJ).
