A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney to join its expanding employment law practice in Manchester, NH, with the option for a hybrid or remote work schedule. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the region's foremost employment law experts while directly engaging with clients and enhancing your professional skills.

Duties

  • Represent clients in various employment law matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review employee handbooks, policies, and other related documents.
  • Provide guidance on wage and hour compliance and employer hiring practices.
  • Conduct on-site employee training sessions focused on harassment prevention and compliance.
  • Assist with crisis response and risk management strategies as needed.
  • Manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in employment law, with a background in general litigation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment law principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • A proactive work ethic and the ability to handle multiple clients and priorities efficiently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and providing legal advice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in crisis management and risk assessment is a plus.
