Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney to join their litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of litigation experience, including class action defense and complex commercial litigation. This role requires excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.

Job Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer, participating in virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience managing a multi-matter docket.
• Experience with class action defense and complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
• Previous federal clerkship is preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and good business judgment.
