The firm is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented attorney with a strong background in Michigan No-Fault insurance law, as well as a proven ability to manage cases through the litigation process. Duties:

  • Manage a full caseload from inception through trial, including handling all aspects of litigation such as discovery, motion calls, and trial preparation.
  • Advise clients on Michigan first and third-party auto No-Fault insurance law.
  • Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trial.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with firm policies.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the Michigan Bar.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on Michigan No-Fault insurance.
  • Proven ability to handle complex personal injury cases through the full litigation process.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with settlement discussions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Michigan No-Fault insurance law (first and third-party claims).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Legal research and case management.
  • Ability to handle litigation from start to finish, including trial preparation.
  • Negotiation and settlement skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
