Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, from case inception through trial, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Job Duties:

• Update clients on case developments and maintain regular communication with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and settlement offers.
• Prepare cases for trial, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients at trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations as necessary.
• Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of cases, including potential damages and liability issues.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters.
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff members to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Georgia State Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven trial experience; first chair trial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, including coverage and liability assessment.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented approach.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
