Job Duties:

  • Work independently and with minimal supervision on legal matters.
  • Handle routine, uncontested hearings and review and execute motions.
  • Assist with the firm’s Georgia practice and handle hearings across the state.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance on legal strategies.
  • Monitor case progress and develop effective resolution strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of legal documents and financials.
  • Draft and review pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain updated documentation and recommendations in internal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal legal requirements.
  • Handle contested matters, including discovery and trials.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia.
  • 3-5 years of litigation or collections experience.
