Location:

Duties:

• Manage an independent caseload with oversight from senior partners
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums
• Attend hearings, court conferences, and depositions
• Perform case inspections and consult with expert witnesses
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Assist in trial preparation and provide trial support
• Maintain effective communication with clients and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage cases independently and work as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid work environment
• Licensed to practice law in New York

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar License (Required)
