A law firm based in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney with substantial experience in personal injury law. Duties:

• Manage a diverse litigation caseload from case initiation through resolution or trial.

• Conduct in-depth legal analysis and fact-gathering to support case strategy.

• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Participate in courtroom proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials.

• Take and defend depositions of clients, experts, and opposing parties.

• Collaborate with clients to provide updates, set expectations, and guide legal outcomes.

• Prepare cases for trial, including exhibit organization, witness preparation, and pre-trial filings.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely case progress and compliance with procedural rules.

• Engage in informal resolution efforts and settlement negotiations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably focused on personal injury or property-related matters.

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation independently.

• Prior experience preparing and participating in trials.

• Proficiency with electronic discovery tools and litigation software.

• Solid understanding of Florida state civil procedures and trial court processes.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines with keen attention to detail.

• Strong professional judgment and case management capabilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license in good standing with the Florida State Bar.

• Admission to additional  State Bars is a plus.
