Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in zoning and land use matters.
• Assist clients with real estate transactions, including land development and property use planning.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare legal documents, including applications, petitions, and supporting materials.
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of required documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze zoning laws, land use regulations, and real estate policies.
• Advise clients on compliance with local zoning ordinances and land use regulations.
• Participate in meetings with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in zoning, land use, or real estate law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proven experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be admitted to practice law in New York (NY).
• Admission to practice in New Jersey (NJ) and/or Connecticut (CT) is a plus.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in New York (required).
• Bar memberships in New Jersey or Connecticut are desirable.

Skills:

• Knowledge of zoning and land use regulations.
• Familiarity with real estate transactions and property law.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
