Job Title: Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Manage a caseload with oversight from senior attorneys and partners.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and write detailed memorandums.
• Represent clients in hearings, court conferences, and depositions.
• Handle inspections, mediations, and trial preparations.
• Consult with expert witnesses and contribute to case strategy.
• Participate in trial proceedings and other litigation tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Active New York Bar license (Required).
• 1-5 years of litigation experience in areas such as bodily injury, premises liability, automobile liability, wrongful death, or product defect.
• Experience in civil litigation defense is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York Bar License (Required).
• Connecticut Bar license (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong research and writing abilities.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Ability to effectively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
