Senior Immigration Attorney

Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior immigration attorney with 3 years of removal defense litigation experience. The candidate will prepare and attend interviews at USCIS and represent clients in Removal Proceedings, Bond proceedings, Detainees, and Parole. Broad expertise in Asylum laws, both affirmative and defensive. Perform legal research as needed. Prepare and file immigration petitions, motions, and legal briefs. Must be admitted in Texas or any U.S. State. Must speak fluent Spanish. Should preferably be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize workload in an extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Google Calendar is required. Proficiency with Cerenade is preferred.

The candidate should preferably be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding client service; be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced setting; be organized; be self-motivated with strong initiative; possess a positive attitude and a professional demeanor. Must be able to supervise legal staff. Must have excellent written communication skills.
