Duties

• Conduct thorough file reviews and legal analysis on claims and causes of action
• Perform comprehensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
• Represent clients in various legal settings, including court appearances, arbitrations, and depositions
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests effectively and promptly
• Engage and collaborate with expert witnesses
• Lead trial preparation and attend trials as necessary
• Fulfill annual billable hours of 1950 hours
• Travel may be required periodically for case matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in General Liability - Premises Liability
• Admitted to practice in Florida (additional state admissions are a plus)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and case-management skills
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
• Prompt responsiveness to email and phone communications
• Excellent client engagement abilities

Education

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar
