Location

Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters in litigation

• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints and motions

• Prepare meet and confer letters for discovery disputes

• Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Take and defend depositions throughout the litigation process

• Prepare clients for depositions, hearings, and mediations

• Respond to and prepare discovery requests and motions, including dispositive motions

• Negotiate settlements and direct investigative efforts in support of claims

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and legal strategy

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience practicing personal injury law

• Experience in personal injury litigation, including pre-litigation and discovery

• Interest in courtroom advocacy and professional skill development

• Prior exposure to depositions and court appearances preferred

• Experience in workers’ compensation is a plus

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Excellent organizational and case management abilities

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting motions

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team

• Technologically adept, with willingness to use legal tech tools and AI-supported systems
