A law firm is currently searching for a dynamic Litigation Attorney to champion the interests of clients navigating complex insurance disputes. This role is ideal for an early to mid-level litigator who thrives in a challenging environment, where strategic thinking, client advocacy, and courtroom confidence converge. The position offers a broad scope of legal exposure, combining case development, negotiation, and litigation with the chance to grow within a collaborative legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a tenacious advocate in claims-related conflicts, including those involving denied benefits, coverage gaps, and insurer misconduct.

  • Scrutinize policy documents, claim records, and related communications to detect discrepancies and build solid legal arguments.

  • Manage an active caseload from start to finish, performing in-depth legal research and crafting persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Facilitate negotiations and settlements by leveraging both legal knowledge and practical tactics to reach optimal resolutions.

  • Take the lead in litigation proceedings such as mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials, delivering impactful legal representation.

  • Collaborate closely with internal legal professionals—including associate attorneys, case coordinators, and litigation support staff—to ensure timely progress and procedural precision.

Position Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a U.S.-accredited institution.

  • Active law license in good standing with at least one state bar (Georgia bar admission preferred or willingness to obtain).

  • 1–6 years of hands-on litigation experience; exposure to insurance-related disputes or property claims is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive legal analysis and produce high-quality written work.

  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasive oral advocacy.

  • Comfortable communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and judges with professionalism and clarity.
