Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled real estate attorney to join its team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing, particularly within the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis for real estate transactions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedings related to real estate matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting real estate transactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Experience representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Education & Certifications:

  • Strong knowledge of real estate law, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
