Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Assist partners with managing a diverse caseload, including civil litigation, business law, probate, and real estate matters.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Represent clients in court by making appearances and presenting arguments.
• Participate in the discovery process, including depositions and case preparation.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress and negotiations.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in civil litigation, business law, or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and manage competing priorities.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to handling legal matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Florida.
