Transactional Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including commercial contracts and mergers.
• Assist clients in structuring and executing business deals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Conduct thorough due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Manage and maintain client files and ensure all documentation is current and compliant.
• Provide legal counsel on business operations and corporate compliance matters.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings related to transactions and business disputes.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal matters and strategies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in transactional law or corporate law.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and legal agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of business law, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for licensure.

Skills:

• Expertise in commercial transactions and contract law.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
