Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a highly motivated and skilled Business Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team in The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to effectively represent clients, providing top-notch legal advice and strategic solutions. The role demands strong research, writing, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage complex cases with efficiency.

Duties:

• Draft a variety of legal documents including motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case development
• Represent clients in court, presenting motions and advocating during legal proceedings
• Advise clients on legal matters, offering tailored strategies to address their needs
• Oversee paralegals and administrative staff, managing time records, billing, client meetings, and project completion

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business litigation
• Ability to work independently while managing a significant caseload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research tools
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
• Being an active member of the local bar association preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (active membership in the local bar association preferred)
