Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law and occasional criminal defense cases.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients regarding family law matters.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to ensure efficient case management.
  • Prepare for and attend court dates in West Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (the firm covers travel expenses).
  • Engage in continuing legal education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of two years of experience practicing family law.
  • Strong research, legal writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with the legal team.
  • Willingness to travel for court appearances as needed.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Texas Bar License (required).
