A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level Health Care Litigation Associate to join its team in New York City. Duties:

  • Represent clients in healthcare-related litigation, regulatory disputes, and other legal controversies.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and participate in trial preparation.
  • Handle complex litigation matters, including regulatory challenges involving the healthcare sector.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on client-facing roles and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Manage case files, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with court requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and advocacy efforts on substantial litigation matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a focus on healthcare litigation or a highly regulated field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent advocacy and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare law or related fields.
  • Prior prosecutorial experience or experience in a healthcare-related field is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research, case management, and litigation strategy.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills for legal documents and court filings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams on high-stakes cases.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex litigation matters.

Location: New York City, NY (Residency in Albany or Rochester preferred).
