Duties

  • Legal Research and Preparation

    • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support ongoing cases.
    • Prepare for hearings and other legal proceedings under the guidance of senior attorneys.
  • Client Interaction

    • Provide legal counsel to clients, helping them navigate their legal issues and advising on possible solutions.
    • Collaborate with clients and other team members to move cases toward resolution.
  • Document Drafting

    • Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, contracts, and settlement agreements.
    • Ensure all documents are accurate, clear, and aligned with legal requirements.
  • Case Management

    • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all updates are accessible and up-to-date for other attorneys and staff.
    • Assist in case strategy and move cases forward efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Learning

    • Work closely with senior associates, learning best practices for managing cases and developing client relationships.
    • Participate in team discussions, contributing to the development of case strategies and client solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience and Education

    • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Must have passed the state bar exam and be a member in good standing with the relevant state bar association.
  • Skills

    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, staff, and other attorneys.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities to assess client issues and recommend appropriate legal strategies.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and provide thoughtful input on case strategies.
  • Professional Development

    • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys and contribute to the growth of the firm’s client base.
    • Active involvement in professional organizations, such as the American Bar Association (ABA), is encouraged.

Education
