Duties

  • Represent a wide range of businesses and individuals in federal and state court proceedings, as well as alternative dispute resolution venues.
  • Manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys on local and national cases.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and develop innovative solutions for complex legal challenges.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for trial and hearings.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in business litigation.
  • Experience in a law firm’s litigation department is required.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sophisticated litigation matters.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility to become admitted.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Skills

  • Admission to practice law in Washington State.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
