Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The role involves significant client interaction, court appearances, and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, performing work duties as required
• Foster positive work relationships
• Comply with all firm policies and practices
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as:
  • Working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing
  • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls
  • Participating in meetings as needed
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience
• Experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Experience appearing in state and federal courts
• Experience handling multi-district litigation is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Admission to the Texas State Bar
