This role involves managing the full scope of personal injury cases up to the filing of a complaint. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide a team of legal professionals and support staff
• Assess the merits of personal injury cases, providing expert advice on the potential outcomes
• Offer counsel and clear communication to clients throughout the process
• Conduct in-depth medical case reviews for accuracy and validity
• Perform detailed legal research and analysis to strengthen case strategies
• Manage settlement negotiations and authorize agreements during the pre-litigation phase

Requirements:

• Active New York State Bar license with good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in client interaction and/or negotiation
• Proven ability to handle a heavy caseload and prioritize effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership to a team
• Advanced research skills and a keen attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and investigative expertise
• Experience in pre-litigation settlement negotiation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York State

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research, negotiation, and case evaluation
