Duties:

  • Lead and mentor junior attorneys and staff in family law practice.

  • Conduct legal research, and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs for family law cases.
  • Attend court hearings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on case strategies and ensure compliance with legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, specifically in family law.
  • Proven track record of successfully representing clients in family law hearings.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while delivering high-quality legal services.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of North Carolina.

Certifications:

  • A license to practice law in North Carolina is mandatory.
